40 Bible Verses Every Child Should Memorize
/Today I'm sharing 40 Bible verses every child should memorize. This past week I put together a list to send home of the Bible verses my little kindergarteners will learn this year. As the list grew I remembered learning these verses when I was their age. I count it an honor to be teaching these precious children the verses I remember quoting in my kindergarten class. This year, I’m teaching the Positive Action for Christ curriculum with the added ABC verses from Abeka. I love these little verses because they are easy for little ones to memorize.
Children are not too young to hide God’s words in their heart. They are at the perfect age to learn how God wants them to live now and in the future. Memorizing comes easy for them and while they are young, they can determine to love Jesus and live for Him.
To keep the verses fresh in the minds of my students I'll be using the method I used with my son during a school years.
While I’m not sharing all the verses Abeka uses for the ABC verses, many of these are verses I learned while growing up and my son has learned over the years.
